Setting the record straight on ICE

To the editor:

There’s been a lot written lately about immigration enforcement, and some of it leaves out important facts.

Some letters make ICE sound like it’s uniquely abusive or out of control. But ICE officers are enforcing civil immigration law passed by Congress, and they operate all across the country, often with local help and without big problems.
