The newly elected Glen Arbor Township supervisor had his hands full trying to keep order when the controversial subject of rezoning the parcel just south of the 1870s era Kelderhouse-Brammer grist mill. *** The state has given a green light to commercial fishers in Michigan to ply their nets in depths that have historically held whitefish. Now all they need is some fish. “We’ve just been notified that, basically, state-licensed commercial fishing will be in the manner as it was in 2020,” said Amanda Holmes, executive director of the Fishtown Preservation Society (FPS).
