Glen Lake boys basketball held off Benzie in a high scoring contest, 86-73, to give the Lakers full ownership of the Northwest Conference championship for the second year in-arow.
“The boys came out strong, moved the ball, rebounded well, and played good defense,” Glen Lake coach Jason Bradford said. “Things just seemed to be clicking; we put up some points on the board, and they got after it defensively.”
Glen Lake clinched the conference on senior night, where senior Jacob Plamondon gave a memorable performance with 38 points despite getting into foul trouble in the first half.
