Getting through winter intentionally

Every year I struggle to get through winter. Seemingly endless nights. Going to work before the sun rises and returning after the sun comes down.

And while the Olympics have offered a bit of distraction from nationwide turbulence, I’ve turned to family to make the best of it.

Saturday, my oldest two granddaughters, Michelle and Maeve, age 7 and 4 respectively, made their third annual trip to Yeti Fest in Suttons Bay.
