Keep legal notices local

There’s an effort affront that could jeopardize the People’s right to know what’s going on in their communities.

Since at least 1963, the public has been able to find legal notices in their newspaper of record, the Leelanau Enterprise.

But now that may be a thing of the past, as the state legislature appears to moving toward all electronic postings.
