As each year turns over, the Leelanau County Clerk’s office is charged with tallying up who tied the knot, birthed, and buried over the past 365 days.
Marriages in the county were plentiful with 207 recorded in 2025. Over half of the marriages (122) were out of state weddings, making Leelanau a top destination spot.
Wedding are down from 2024 to 2025 as 2024 saw 222 couples get married.
