Thursday, Feb. 19

9:15 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller has not heard from his wife since 10 last night. She is not picking up her phone. This very unlike her.

1:16 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller’s grandma and aunt are fighting. Intoxicated. No weapons. Not sure what they are fighting over. Caller is outside.

2:23 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two German Shepherds hanging around. No collar. Second call reported the dogs are heading north on the bay side. (Owner was advised of last seen location for dogs and is going to look for them.)

3:08 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Welfare check requests on patient who keeps calling the care manager with anxiety issues and panic attacks. (No one at the audience.)

3:37 p.m. — Leland Township — Yellow Lab running loose. Called in by a third party. (Contact made with third caller who has the dog and will bring it to the Sheriff’s Office kennel. Owner picked up the dog).

5:06 p.m. — Bingham Township — Gray sedan passing multiple cars and driving fast. He has almost caused multiple head-on accidents.

7:40 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Roommate is threatening caller’s daughter and caller.

8:51 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Roommate is throwing things around the apartment. Threw a glass at caller.

10:51 p.m. — Leelanau Township— Suspicious vehicle. (They were just making some deposits.)

Friday, Feb. 20

8:43 a.m. — Bingham Township— Aggravated assault. One in custody.

9:24 a.m. — Bingham Township — Neighbors dog bit him in the knee yesterday, 2:16 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Man wearing all black with white hat tried to enter the house. Started running down the road.

2:52 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller’s neighbor said to call and it was urgent. Trying to get a hold of her now and no one is answering. Caller is his niece. (Subject was found and said he would call her back when he wanted to.)

9:56 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller hit a patch of ice, slid off the road and hit a parked vehicle in the driveway. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

Saturday, Feb. 21

3:22 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s F150 is in the ditch. Called in by a tow truck on the scene. (No damage to vehicle.)

12:09 p.m. — Solon Township — Two ladies were supposed to leave in one week. (Change to citizen assist. No violations occurred. Caller instructed to call back is subject returns.)

5:03 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Child abuse.

7:43 p.m. — Kasson Township— Domestic.

9:28 p.m. — Kasson Township — Child abuse.

10:48 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller is attempting to pick up nephew and he’s throwing a fit, telling and refusing to let the child go with the caller.

Sunday, Feb. 22

3:05 a.m. — Bingham Township — Son saw a dark sedan driving past the houses in the neighborhood and shining a spotlight in windows.

8:01 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports three beagles running past. Brought them into her house and will hold for tomorrow. They belonged at the Humane Society, working on going to get them. (Humane Society called. Said in the process of bringing the dogs back, someone in the house opened the door and three dogs escaped and are heading north.)

10:04 a.m. — Kasson Township — Green Toyota truck all over the road. Crossing into oncoming lane.

Monday, Feb. 23

6:51 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Single-vehicle accident. Chevy Silverado; vehicle is well off the roadway and the driver is making arrangements to have it removed.

8:24 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s neighbors were on his property without permission. He wants them trespassed from his property.

8:38 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Child abuse.

10:18 a.m. —Elmwood Township — Debris in the road, north of Pathfinder, including a pair of shoes.

2:32 p.m. — Solon Township — Child abuse.

11:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — GMC truck. Sobriety tests given.
