Life on the peninsula is pretty quiet now, compared to summer.
A good number of residents go South during the winter months, leaving a hearty crew of “year-rounders” to fend for themselves on the Pinkie Peninsula.
While some curse the arrival and the duration of winter, others jump in head-first. Among these are the dozens of volunteers who get together to provide a “distraction” for the weather weary.
