Glen Lake Elementary is proud to present the musical, “The Big One-Oh! Jr.” on Thursday, March 12 at 5 p.m., Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m., and Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. in the Glen Lake auditeria.
This musical follows the story of Charley Maplewood (played by 4th grader Caroline Smith) and her desire to throw the greatest 10th birthday party (her “Big 1-0”) in the history of birthday parties.
However, Charley is new to her school and her only friends are her three imaginary monsters from her favorite comic book, Swampy, Alien, and Zombie King (played by 4th graders Cora Arslan, Charlotte O’Connor, and Calvin Adams) and the “annoying” Jennifer Mobley (4th grader Mae Toomey), who thinks just because they like the same comic books they should be friends.
