Free trees in April

This spring the county’s four public libraries will be participating in Neighborhood Forest’s 17th annual Free Tree Program as part of Earth Week celebrations in April.

Neighborhood Forest is a nonprofit organization that has helped more than 310,000 children across North America plant their very own trees since 2010 inspiring environmental stewardship through the joy of planting and growing trees.

Parents and caregivers can register their child to receive a free tree to plant a home. Registration is open now through March 15.
