Lake Leelanau St. Mary girls basketball advanced to the district semifinal with a 47-28 win over Suttons Bay Monday at Bear Lake in a MHSAA Div. 4 district quarterfinal game.
The Eagles (6-17) and Norse (4-15) sparred to a 21-17 halftime score.
Once the third quarter started, it was all Eagles, as St. Mary did not allow the Norsemen to score in the third period.
