Utility bill heating assistance offered by Consumers Energy

Consumers Energy is letting customers in nine northern Michigan counties know that assistance to help them stay safe, comfortable and warm is available today.

The nonprofit Superior Watershed Partnership is enrolling eligible customers today in Consumers Energy’s CARE program, which helps households stay on top of their energy bills. The program is one of several ways Consumers Energy is helping the public this winter.

The Superior Watershed Partnership is actively supporting Consumers Energy customers in Alpena, Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Leelanau, Montmorency, Otsego and Presque Isle counties.
