8:30 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller came across a Subaru in the ditch. Stopped. They are OK and waiting on assistance. No damage to vehicle.
11 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Violation of the controlled substance act.
12:59 p.m. — Cleveland Township— Road hazard on S. Wheeler and W. Darwin roads. Car in the travel lane near the Conservancy parking lot. Light gray Subaru. (No violations per law enforcement.)
5:22 p.m. — Kasson Township — Mom and sister are arguing excessively. Sister said mother is throwing things: including her walker.
6:29 p.m. — Bingham Township — Criminal sexual conduct.
6:31 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Criminal sexual conduct.
8:33 p.m. — Elmwood Township — White SUV driving over the center line. Possibly impaired.
10:51 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone standing near the trash can. Did not want to approach. Could only see that they were wearing a coat and hat. Thought it was odd and left.
Thursday, Feb. 26
1:45 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller states that a dog was outside barking for a long time. Went outside and opened the door to their house and put him back inside. Caller said that family has three kids as well. Caller is worried that no one answered the phone when he called or was taking care of the dog. (Kids are fine. Owners thought the dog was inside. Nothing suspicious.)
8:29 a.m. — Bingham Township — Child abuse.
10:15 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Dog at large. (Owner given a verbal warning.)
12:53 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Caller saw woman who didn’t appear to be dressed for conditions. Wearing blue sweatshirt, tan pants. Walking away from Suttons Bay. Tried to flag down motorist but they kept going.
1:14 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller is being blackmailed. Does not know who the person is threatening him. (Calmed caller down.)
1:14 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller was speaking to her mom and now can’t get a hold of her. (Was going to get into car and leave. Contact made. She’s fine.)
1:25 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township— Truck parked at the end of Darwin Road blocking the roadway. White truck with V-plow parked at the end of seasonal road so there should not be much traffic. (Will check tomorrow).
2:24 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Car is stuck. Girl in car is possibly not breathing. Black BMW was trying to get them unstuck. Driver is in the vehicle passed out. (Driver went into residence. Everything clear.)
2:54 p.m.— Bingham Township — Construction equipment/ trucks/trailer parked on the roadway on a corner. No traffic cones/control. (They now have a banner out advising of trucks in the roadway.)
8:48 p.m. — Kasson Township — Car is being followed by another. White Subaru Crosstrek. Caller is in a red F250. Caller said it was possible road rage. Crosstrek turned south into Benzie County.
11:01 p.m. — Leland Township — Son has been drinking. Came home and is yelling with both parents. Nothing physical. Everyone in the household is drunk. (Nothing criminal. Mediated.)
Friday, Feb. 27
12:15 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Same vehicles as yesterday. Parking in the same spot. Caller would like to speak with a deputy and would like a ticket issued or a warning.
12:45 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black Subaru driving poorly. Almost went over the median into ongoing traffic and then veered back over the fog line.
3:49 p.m. — Elmwood Township — BMW westbound on Lincoln Road. Driving on the wrong side of the road.
7:42 p.m. — Leland Township — Truck headed east on M-204. Male driver smelled of alcohol. Peeled out when leaving the parking lot.
8:44 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller thinks there is something or someone in her chicken coop. Something was pushing against the door. (No signs of entry per law enforcement.)
9:31 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports a blue Chevy Crossover van parked at the end of caller’s driveway for three or four hours.
9:57 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller hired painting contractor. Work was supposed to be done two months ago. Caller has already paid them. (Deputy spoke with caller. This is a civil matter that she will have to resolve in the courts.)
Saturday, Feb. 28
12:25 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township— Caller reports some skiers in the area who made “threat-like” comments toward the caller’s residence.
Sunday, March 1
2:35 a.m. — Solon Township — Suspicious vehicle at Harry’s Road and Lautner Road. Law enforcement will check on the vehicle.
4:32 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Family trouble.
1:08 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Silver BMW behind caller is swerving across all lanes.
6:49 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Family trouble.
Monday, March 2
10:16 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Runaway juvenile.
7:28 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Fight occurred in the jail earlier in the day.
7:57 p.m. — Solon Township — Restaurant under renovation. Will have some materials outside overnight that they weren’t able to get inside. Would appreciate a coupe of patrols in the area during the night … if possible.
Tuesday, March 3
12:08 a.m. — Centerville Township — White Japanese Spitz and 9-month English Shepherd missing. (Dogs located. They are being transported to the caller’s address. Dogs returned.)
5:57 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Gray car. No lights on. Caller is worried it will hit someone.
