To the editor:
This is an open letter to the county board with the intention of protecting our deputies from betrayal far worse and more dangerous than the one they received months ago.
Should they be compelled to act as ICE agents they face the real possibility of facing both civil and criminal prosecution for acting beyond their protection of qualified immunity in the very near future.
