Drain comm. gets grilled

A call for better communication and transparency has been requested of the county drain commissioner.

Elected drain commissioner Tim O’Non appeared before commissioners accompanied by Brian Cenci of GEI Consultants, during a recent county board meeting. The drain commission has contracted Cenci for the past several years.

The duo went over work completed on the Lake Bluff Drain in Solon Township and another drain installed on South Bar Lake. Four additional projects, in varying stages of development, were also outlined.
