Renewal of senior services millage sought

County commissioners are expected later this month to consider a millage request for Leelanau Senior Services.

Lena VanderMeulen, executive director of Leelanau County senior services, brought up the proposed renewal during a recent meeting of the board’s executive committee.

It was also the agenda of the county senior services advisory board which held a special meeting last week.
