Glen Lake senior Caden and freshman Gavin Sheehan, along with junior Abraham Feeney, competed at the MHSAA D4 state championships at Ford Field in Detroit Friday and Saturday.
Although the Lakers didn’t have the performance they dreamt of, the journey to get to the finals (top-16) is admirable in itself.
Caden Sheehan capped off his Laker wrestling career with a 1-2 record at the state finals. Caden lost his first match, before winning in the consolation round 7-0. The senior eventually fell in the blood round, 5-4.
