Elizabeth Wadas:
Among the first friendly faces that you see as you enter the Northport Public School front office is Elizabeth Wadas — She began serving as secretary this school year, but she also handles much of the district’s communications and social media platforms, sharing what’s happening within the school’s close community on a daily basis.
“I truly believe that this school has so much to offer and this community does, it’s a very small school, so the fact that I get to get the word out and show people what goes on in this building every single day is such a gift,” Wadas said. “I really hope that it could eventually turn into more families thinking about sending their kids to Northport. At any given time or day, I can just walk down the hallway and there’s something greeting me right away that is engaging, fun, and different and is really helping our kids.”
