‘Universal access’

The League of Women Voters of Leelanau County supports prioritizing universal access in all public parks and playgrounds throughout Leelanau County.

Our parks are among the county’s greatest assets. They bring families together, promote health and well-being, and strengthen our sense of community. Ensuring that these spaces are accessible to individuals of all abilities is not simply a matter of compliance — it is a reflection of our shared values of inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity.
