April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness and strengthen community efforts to protect children.
“The best way to stop child abuse is to prevent it. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, communities are empowered to recognize and respond to abuse—because every child deserves a safe future.”
Inspired by this mission of the Traverse Bay Area Child Advocacy Center (TBCAC), the Northport Lions Club and the Suttons Bay–Leelanau Rotary Club are partnering with TBCAC to host its Talk·Protect·Report™: Digital Safety Edition on April 16, 2026, at the Leelanau County Government Center, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
