5:35 p.m., Kasson Township— Suspicious vehicles have been around the neighborhood for a number of days. Would like them checked out.
7:27 p.m., Elmwood Township — Saw a vehicle pull over, the man got out, went to the passenger side of the vehicle and opened the door forcefully and it appeared he was going to strike the woman in the car. When the caller backed up to try and see what was going on, the vehicle took off.
Friday, March 13
12:03 a.m., Empire Township —- Caller reporting his neighbors are constantly being loud, partying, yelling and slamming doors.
11:26 a.m., Leelanau Township —- hit and run reported in parking lot from a white GMC.
11:48 a.m., Leelanau Township — Tree branches blocking M-22, road commission called dispatch and asked for fire department because all of their staff is plowing and not available.
3:36 p.m., Leelanau Township — Gray Jeep traffic stop. One in custody.
8:23 p.m., Suttons Bay Township — Caller reporting what looks like at least two “very large” bon fires on the north side of the Pine View road. She is concerned with the wind tonight about possible spreading of the fire. Small controlled burn attended by the homeowner, no problem here.
9:41 p.m., Bingham Township — There is no stop sign at this intersection. Found the stop sign, unable to keep sign standing.
11:49 p.m., Bingham Township — Called out with a vehicle off the roadway near this intersection. One arrested on sobriety, wrecker to have vehicle towed out of the ditch. In custody.
Saturday, March 14
2:14 a.m., Suttons Bay Township — Individual pulled the fire alarm, two others fighting in his room as well.
3:00 a.m., Suttons Bay Township — Caller is reporting an accident with their vehicle, no injuries, rolled over and driver left the scene, Silver Durango. One in custody.
4:37 p.m., Cleveland Township — Single vehicle into a powerpole with wires down across the road no injuries. M-22 will be shut down.
Sunday, March 15
3:19 p.m., Solon Township — Red minivan driving on other side of road, almost ran other vehicles off the road.
7:46 p.m., Kasson Township — Vehicle is stuck in the middle of the roadway. Silver ford focus, stuck at the intersection, no damage.
9:07 p.m., Solon Township — A vehicle is 15-feet off the road. It appears the driver is slumped forward and unresponsive. One in custody on sobriety.
Monday, March 16
5:58 a.m., Kasson Township — Caller is stuck in the middle
of the road Chevy 2500.
6:27 a.m., Bingham Township — Caller advised two vehicles are in the roadway near this intersection.
8:09 a.m., Leelanau Township — A semi jackknifed across intersection, have help coming.
8:25 a.m, Bingham Township — Accident with wrecker on scene, M-633 is shut down for a bit.
9:12 a.m., Suttons Bay Township — A vehicle is 75-feet from the roadway and appears to have been there awhile as the storm has covered any tracks. Not a road hazard and the owner will have to make arrangements for removal.
10:18 a.m., Suttons Bay Township — Positive levels of carbon monoxide in residence, vents blocked.
10:27 a.m., Bingham Township — Silver Audi into a snow bank, been there awhile and driver finally arrived. Vehicle is unstuck and running.
10:36 a.m., Suttons Bay Township — Can hear a horn blaring, may be coming from Jacobson Road but caller is not sure. Caller thinks it is a motorist in distress.
12:51 p.m., Suttons Bay Township — Youths using the back steps of the school to snowboard. They were asked to leave but are refusing.
1:24 p.m., Solon Township — Checking on a semi that is stuck in the intersection. Loader arrived and is going to tow him out. Standing by while the work truck is unstuck but still having difficulties with hills on M-72. Will follow him for a bit until he gets it under control.
2:52 p.m., Solon Township — Semi with trailer stuck in the road driver is partially stuck but he has tire chains. Driver is now underway eastbound.
5:20 p.m., Empire Township — Caller reporting a possibly intoxicated driver, a Ford F-250 blue. Caller witnessed him go in the ditch several times, tried helping once and subject was slurring his words.
6:26 p.m., Cleveland Township — Lady’s black Volkswagen atlas is stuck in the middle of the road near the market, 6:58 p.m., Solon Township — Michigan State Police is going to close down M-72 from Cedar Rd. to Benzonia Trail.
7:53 p.m., Cleveland township — Picked up large golden dog, short haired, it has been in their yard recently, brought it into the house, red collar. Caller is going to keep dog for the night, will wait for animal control in the morning.
9:40 p.m., Leelanau Township — Personal plow truck stuck in a drift.
Tuesday, March 17
2 a.m., Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle stuck in ditch.
5:03 a.m., Bingham Township — Caller can smell gas leak.
9:17 a.m., Leelanau Township — Carbon Monoxide alert. Road North of airport is impassable. Told homeowners to leave the premises until their heating system can be serviced.
9:28 a.m., Solon Township — After several failed attempts to summon assistance, caller decided to dig herself out and has gone about her normal daily routine.
