Hateful Thinking

To the editor:

I was appalled to read the “death wish” submitted by Donald Monte in the March 12 Enterprise. What an abominable thing to say about the President of the United States.

Shame on the Enterprise for publishing such a hateful letter. This kind of hatred, unfortunately, is far too common and widens the rift between our political parties. I submit none of us has approved 100 percent with past presidents’ policies, but at least we had respect for the office. The number of citizens who wholly disrespect President Trump and reject 100 percent his policies is deplorable. Relentless hate obscures critical and rational thinking and fuels the quagmire we’re living in.
