The Leelanau Township Community Foundation (LTCF) Board of Trustees approved grants to 10 organizations in Leelanau County on Monday, January 26, 2026: - Northport Public School, recipient of a $2,791.52 grant from the Youth Endowment Fund to purchase four podcast stations for creating podcasts as final products to showcase student learning.
- Leelanau Christian Neighbors, recipient of a $6,069 grant from the General Endowment Fund to purchase one month’s worth of beef and pork protein for the LCN food pantry.
- Leelanau County Cancer Foundation (LCCF), recipient of a $15,000 grant from the General Endowment Fund to help Leelanau Township residents with cancer by covering some of their “non-medical” expenses while undergoing treatment.
