Suttons Bay graduate Anya Tondreau has had a winding path leading her back home to the Leelanau Peninsula, and she recently completed her first season as the Lake Leelanau St. Mary girls basketball coach this winter.
“I’m just so happy to see who they are as individuals, and the growth that they have on the basketball court makes it all worth it for me,” Tondreau said.
She’s already excited for next season and hopes the girls capitalize on summer camps and get in the gym as much as possible.
