I have been listening to the many statements put forth by business owners in Leland, regarding the special use permit requested to utilize a building for a Youth for Christ club. I listened to the many concerns about how a club will compete for parking and reduce commercial space, and affect the profit margin of these businesses- though it would appear that an additional business in that space would compete even more for parking and customers.
