Kasson adopts 2026-27 budget

Budget expenses totaling just over $505,000 were endorsed at the Kasson Township annual meeting March 21.

Following the annual monthly meeting, the township board approved the 2026-27 spending plan which went into effect Tuesday, April 1.

As adopted, budget revenue of $505, 740 is expected. This includes $175,000 in state shared revenue; $81,000 in property tax revenue; and $20,000 from the township dumping fee at Glen’s Landfill.
