Students focus on Reading Month

St. Mary School proudly celebrated the success of its elementary students during Reading Month for March, a time dedicated to fostering a love of reading through engaging and creative activities.

Throughout the month, students participated in a variety of themed events that brought books to life. From dressing up as their favorite literary characters to enjoying cozy reading days in imaginative forts and comfortable reading spaces, the excitement for reading was evident. Adding to the fun, teachers incorporated a “March Madness” theme into the hallways, organizing basketballinspired reading activities, friendly competitions, and awarding exciting prices that motivated students to keep turning pages.

St. Mary students collectively read an impressive 28,140 minutes during the month of March.
