‘Bully’

To the editor:

We have a muscular and unfriendly Christianity attempting to bull its way into the fabric of Leland.

In the beginning was the subterfuge of sending VanSteenhouse’s nephew and wife into the Leland School to harvest youth for his ministry, eschewing parental involvement with their clubhouse and, of late, his Trumpian tactic of using lawfare to have only his way in the community by impugning Fishtown Preservation Society’s adherence to the law. We have a bully. Placating a bully yields nothing save further bullying.
