To the editor:
Hark! What is that sound heard far to the East and South? In Farsi and in Spanish? It is singing! The people are singing! 140 million enslaved people joined together in a hope-filled song of liberation from tyranny! Because ONE MAN has the vision, courage, and resolve to act, to do the right thing in the face of savage partisan opposition. And once the dust settles, 36 million Venezuelans, 12 million Cubans, and 92 million Iranians may know the blessings of liberty and a renewed hope for prosperity. To be free to chart their own course in life. Trump the Liberator, a modern- day Simon Bolivar. Trump the Emancipator, a latter day Abe Lincoln, and like Lincoln, brutally pilloried by his political opponents and the always biased fake news attack dogs. What is Trump’s “exit strategy”, they sanctimoniously demand? It’s VICTORY (for which there is no substitute). Once the war clouds part and peace restored, with the threat of a nuclear Iran forever erased, I have this advice for the naysayers, saboteurs, and 5th column backstabbers (the enemy within), “keep your words sweet, because you might have to eat them”. I can’t speak for the weak and faint-hearted, but now that we’re in it I’m on Team America and back our men and women in harm’s way 100%. “My country, right or wrong, may she always be right, but my country”.
