Crocus tips are barely poking up at Ruby Ellen Farm, a sure harbinger of spring’s warmer weather to come.
Sunday, May 17 is Plow Day at the farm, located at 5946 S. Center Hwy., in Bingham Township.
From noon to 4 p.m., there will be demonstrations of horse-drawn plowing and harnessing; ropemaking and arts and crafts. Participants can explore four museums; hiking trails; rehab-ed gardens; a Mackinaw boat exhibit; and antique equipment museum. Activities include planting kits and “Westley” the miniature horse.
