Glen Lake baseball was the home team Tuesday at Benzie Central, as the Lakers had to move locations due to area flooding that has led to cancellations across all sports.
“There’s been so much flooding, and it’s been a very weird start to the year. We are supposed to play Lake Leelanau St. Mary yesterday, and that’s not going to happen because neither one of us can get on our baseball field,” Glen Lake coach Kris Herman said. “The other thing is that we’re supposed to play at Turtle Creek Stadium on Saturday, that’s in doubt now because there’s supposed to be thunderstorms.”
But Herman has his fingers crossed for more action this spring.
