Northport resident Susan Hammersley O’Connor will be celebrating her 90th birthday (May 6) with a May 2 party to celebrate nine decades of life from her home north of Northport.
“I’m dreading it (turning 90),” O’Connor said. “I didn’t want to be that old, but I’m in amazingly good health.”
O’Connor, a Livonia native, born in 1936, graduated from Livonia High School when it was still a farm town. After graduating from high school, she attended Kalamazoo College, where she continued her love for music.
