To the editor:
Recent news of service-members facing and engaged in home foreclosures numbering over 10,000, should distress us . The families affected are facing life -altering stress. To not assist is unacceptable. DOGE cuts imposed earlier, eliminated an existing program that helped when a Vet was a payment from foreclosure. How is this allowed to stand?
Another glaring Veteran’s need is addressing the 20 vets a month committing suicide. Destroying families creates a societal problem, one that needs addressing now.
