Glen Lake fell to Harbor Springs during an early-season tournament at Turtle Creek Stadium Saturday, 10-0.
Harbor Spring defeated Suttons Bay 15-2, and the Lakers defeated the Norse 15-2 to advance to the final game.
The Lakers got out of multiple early-inning jams against the Ram, but Harbor Spring finally broke through in the bottom of the third. The Rams scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a commanding 4-0 lead that led to another explosion of runs in the fifth to end the game.
Nick Lemieur earned the win against Glen Lake Lakers by allowing zero runs and earned zero runs through five innings.
Glen Lake pitcher Sully Atkins earned a win against Suttons Bay, allowing only one hit and striking out eight. Brady Turner got the Laker bats rolling, hitting an inside-the-park grand slam, while freshman Spencer McNitt produced a double among two hits, driving in four runs.
Glen Lake travels to Suttons Bay for a Northwest Conference doubleheader Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
