Glen Lake baseball and softball traveled to Suttons Bay Tuesday and came away with strong victories.
In softball, the Lakers won both games 20-4, 23-2.
“They’ve all been receptive to any adjustments we’re trying to make, with their swings, and I feel like it shows when they’re in the batter’s box, the amount of power that they’re putting behind the ball. We’ve got a lot of kids that have hit for extra bases already,” Glen Lake coach Lauryn Pleva said. “Most of our team is hitting above .300, and we’ll see if we can keep it there once we start playing better and better competition, as everyone starts to catch up defensively now that we can all get outside.”
