Leland claimed the top spot at the Crystal Mountain 9-hole golf event, finishing with a team score of 172. Glen Lake followed in second with 185, while Benzie Central (199), Onekama (207), and Brethren (209) rounded out the team rankings. Individually, Leland’s Hayden VanSteenhouse led the field with a 39, trailed by teammate Howie Kropp with a 41. Anthony Collier of Brethren and Joel Martin of Glen Lake tied for third, each carding a 44.
The Comets rebound came after losing its first meet at Mistwood last week.
