For the first time in nine years, the Leelanau Enterprise, has not been named newspaper of the year by the Michigan Press Association.
The Michigan Press Association announced the winning newspaper during its annual conference Thursday in East Lansing.
The Enterprise finished third place in the Newspaper of the Year for weekly publications with a circulation between 7,001 and 15,000.
