Communities across the state have been grappling with rain of biblical proportions this month.
Many homes and businesses have floated off their footings. Others homes have water in their basements and ground floor.
As a result, Governor Whitmer declared a state of emergency for 40 of the 83 counties as water flooded many prompting evacuations in Cheboygan County to the Muskegon area.
