Fedderman leads Comets at Bobcat Invite

The Leland track and field teams had impressive performances at the Brethren Bobcat Invite Friday, May 1.

The Comet boys team finished second overall, while the girls team finished fourth.

Leland boy winners: Chase Denoyer (200, 24.97); Carter Suttmann (400, 54.61); Christopher Knudsen, Holden Preneta, Campbell Fedderman, Suttmann (4x400, 3:44); Suttmann, Christopher Knudsen, Campbell Fedderman, Chase Denoyer (4x200, 1:38); Knudsen, Holden Preneta, Hannes Graebel, Fedderman (4x800, 9:34).

Leland girl winners: Magnolia Marsh (100, 13.72); Sophia Grinage (800, 2:43); Grinage (mile, 5:56); Grinage (two-mile, 12:33).

Lakers finish third at Ken Bell Invitational

Glen Lake boys track finished third in the D3 and D4 races at the Ken Bell Invitational Friday at Traverse City Central.

The Laker 4x800-relay team of Abraham Feeney, Eli Maule, Christian Feeney and Lincoln Bailey with a time of 8:31. Glen Lake junior Abraham Feeney finished second in the mile with a time of 4:37. Glen Lake senior Jacob Plamondon won the high jump with a height of 6’3” Lake Leelanau St. Mary junior Daniel Chaney finished second in the two-mile with a blazing fast time of 9:59.

For the girls, Glen Lake sophomore Emma Bosscher threw a third-place throw of 95’7” Friday.
