A county student is one of three persons awarded scholarships from the American Association of University Women, Traverse City Area Branch.
The organization has awarded Minnie Bardenhagen of Lake Leelanau the $5,000 Votruba Moore scholarship for continuation of her studies in journalism at Michigan State University.
Other recipients are Ivy Barbeaux of Fife Lake and Mary-Katherine MacRae of Frankfort.
