County Clerk Michelle Crocker was feted for her 45 years of service to the county, marking her 30th year of being sworn in as clerk.

Crocker was hired by Clerk Dorothy Wunderlich in 1981 at the age of 20. Upon Wunderlich’s retirement, Crocker was appointed clerk and assumed office on May 1, 1996. She has been reelected every four years since and is said to be the longest-serving county clerk in the state.
