The third Traverse City Repair Café will take place Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Traverse Area District Library’s (TADL) Main Library on Woodmere Avenue.
The free event is hosted by Green Door Folk School in partnership with TADL.
Attendees are invited to bring small, broken household items, such as lamps, toasters, clothing, or chairs, and work alongside skilled community volunteers to assess and, when possible, repair them on the spot. The event aims to reduce waste, extend the life of everyday objects, and provide a practical, hands-on learning experience.
