Glen Lake Superintendent Jason Misner has requested to establish two new teaching positions for the 2026-27 school year — particularly in mathematics.
“The math teacher (we were looking at) did not accept. We are coming to the board for approval of an additional secondary position, because we have some gaps in the schedule, specifically in math,” Misner said.
Misner continued, saying that juggling staff could open up the possibility of a second language, as it’s been several years since the Lakers taught German.
