Calling out Bergman

To the editor:

At a recent Board of Commissioner’s meeting, the commissioners reviewed the upcoming millage rate in a thoughtful manner. Some may have wanted a lower rate (our county has one of the lowest rates in Michigan) but the majority settled on a wise review of our current needs and potential unknown expenditures.

Contrast this with what is happening at the national level where essential services, especially healthcare, are being cut and those most in need will be relying on local resources to survive.
