Lakers def. Eagles in district final; win 14th in a row

Glen Lake baseball is a lot like your favorite Summer time record.

Come June, the Lakers are playing a winning album called District Champions for the 14th consecutive year.

““This one was pretty special because we weren’t the district favorites this season. But, we’ve gotten great leadership from our 3 seniors all year long, and we play one of the toughest schedules in the state for a school our size. The guys have taken their lumps, learned and really grown into their potential, and those two factors are the biggest reasons why,” Glen Lake coach Kris Herman said.
