Family members, community volunteers, and the Grand Traverse Band Tribal Police Department continue searching for Samson “Sammy” Raphael, who is believed to have gone missing on May 29 or May 30, but likely sometime Friday night.
Samson is approximately 5 feet 11 inches, around 200 pounds, with curly black hair and a full black beard. He may be wearing khaki pants or dark orange pajama pants, a white T-shirt, black running shoes, and may be carrying a black computer bag.
Samson is autistic and may be without needed medication. Numerous community members have joined the search effort and investigators continue to actively follow up on reported sightings and leads. Family members also note that he may have cut his hair since these photographs were taken, as he has done in the past.
