Baseball closed out the county’s spring sports slate with a strong run of postseason honors, as Glen Lake and Lake Leelanau St. Mary combined to send more than a dozen players to all-conference, all-district and all-region teams — though neither program landed a player on the all-state list this year.

Spencer McNitt led the way for Glen Lake, earning allregion recognition as an outfielder. He was joined on the all-region list by St. Mary’s Josh Bunek, who made it as an infielder.

Glen Lake placed six players on the all-district team. Brady Turner was honored at first base, while Colton Newman and Tanner Crick were recognized as infielders. McNitt added a second postseason nod as an outfielder. St. Mary matched Glen Lake’s depth, putting four players on the all-district list: Bunek and Augie Gossett as infielders, and Oliver Mitchell and Edwin Ryder as outfielders.
