BLOTTER: Caller woke from a dead sleep to squealing tires and possible crash on M-22. (Arrest made for operating while intoxicated.)

Wednesday, June 10

2:35 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Female reached Antrim County and refuses to call 911 because there is a black bear.(Text only) They believe a bear and cubs are 10 feet from them and didn’t realized they are there and if they talk it will notice them. (No sign of bear anywhere around the tent.)

6:33 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Threats by daughter’s boyfriend.

12:30 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle parked near driveway and thinks it is suspicious.

12:44 p.m. — Bingham Township— Black Lab running between houses.

3:29 p.m. — Solon Township — Turtle in the middle of the road that has been hit bay a car. It’s causing people to swerve all over the road to avoid. (Law enforcement unable to locate.)

5:50 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Hot dog in truck. (Unable to locate.)

7:07 p.m. —Leland Township — Caller’s 17-year-old daughter and friend took off on a paddleboard. No personal flotation devices. (Arrived at someone’s house and are on land. Mom’s going to pick up.)

7:32 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Female a couple doors down spit in caller’s face while she was walking outside and then threw her on the ground. Parties separated (other female has been drinking. )

Thursday, June 11

7:18 a.m. — Cleveland Township— Younger female walking down the road with backpack, wearing shorts, a tank top and flip-flops. Caller thought it was something law enforcement should be aware. She doesn’t appear to be dressed for school.

12:50 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Juveniles stealing at shop yesterday. Have on camera. Possibly ID’d through social media.

1:20 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Vandalism.

3:03 p.m. — Leland Township — Single-car rollover. Driver in custody for operating while intoxicated.

Friday, June 12

1:34 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Central Dispatch in Traverse City received a report of a black Lexus, possibly a “rolling domestic.”

11:31 a.m. — Solon Township — Subject was walking dog on a private road. Caller has asked him not to walk the dog, but subject is still doing it.

5:13 p.m.— Suttons Bay Township— Several residents have noticed a black, high-performance sports car traveling at a high rate of speed. Has two red stripes on the hood and a loud exhaust. Caller requests additional patrols.

7:43 p.m. — Empire Township — Individual is making threats toward caller and a new business he is starting here.

10:45 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Three people arguing, yelling and hitting or banging on something. Talking about drinking too much. (One in custody for operating while intoxicated.)

Saturday, June 13

12:15 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle stopped for a sobriety test. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

2:35 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller woke from a dead sleep to squealing tires and possible crash on M-22. (Arrest made for operating while intoxicated.)

2:46 a.m. — Empire Township— Van parked at the beach. Caller lives nearby. Thought he saw a drone and went to investigate.

10:20 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Camper van has been parked for four days. Evidence of multiple campfires along the trail. Also a Harley parked next to the camper.

11:32 p.m. — Centerville Township — Longhorn bull out and calf walking down the sides of the road.

Sunday, June 14

3:38 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Male on a bicycle flagged law enforcement down on the side of the road. (Subject is in a lot of pain and requested an ambulance.)

6:45 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller just arrived from Missouri to open house for the season. One of the basement doors has been kicked in. (Appears to have been an animal break in.)

Monday, June 15

12:47 a.m. — Empire Township — Headlights came on in caller’s VW Bug. Caller doesn’t see anything but would like the area checked.

7:23 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Gray truck parked on the side of the road east of the intersection. Male inside was leaning against the window of the truck. (Per law enforcement found the male was sleeping.)

12:27 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller reports numerous instances of people (not part of the homeowners association) dumping their trash in the dumpsters at the end of Townhouse Drive, typically happens of the weekend. There is signage indicating private use.)

12:46 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller wants to report his old landlord stole his guitar and would like deputies to get it back for him.

1:19 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Gray Kia hit by a garbage bin that workers for hauler was pushing across the road causing damage to caller’s vehicle.

2:34 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports a truck drove through their orchard while they were spraying. Pulled alongside the sprayer but would not stop and speak to caller’s son, who was pulling the sprayer by tractor. Caller would like to speak with an officer regarding how to proceed with this.

3:16 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller’s brother threatened him and he would like to speak to an officer. (Ongoing civil family issue).

3:18 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports someone with a dog off leash. When caller advised on the leash law, the male began berating her. Subject has since left. She only wants this on record for now.

5:23 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports a bicyclist ran into her car, a black Toyota Corolla. No injuries. Male in his late 60s. Got on bike and rode away. Caller doesn’t have damage to her vehicle. Wants it noted for the record in case he tries to claim later than she hit him.

7:22 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller reports a confrontation with her landlord that took place today.

9:16 p.m. — Bingham Township— Northbound blue truck, F150, crossing the center and fog line.

9:40 p.m. — Bingham Township — Son’s friend took his son’s dog and phone — then took off.
