‘Wetland distruction’

Mr. Craig Okerstom- Lang states he “Cut down the majority of the trees” on his property south of St. Mary’s Church. I call the property Lone Tree, since I see only one tree in the middle of a raped wetland. His lot formerly offered filters for the water, flood control that absorbs rain, shelter for wildlife, a source of cooling and erosion control.

Mr. Okerstorm- Lang writes that his clear-cut would invite all kinds of wildlife and “flora that have laid dormant”. Who does he think he is fooling? Those native plants, trees and wildlife are exactly what he destroyed, just so he can have an unobstructed view of the water.
