Tuesday, June 23

4:57 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Red truck and blue Dodge Charger were seen racing southbound.

4:59 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Granddaughter lost her purse.

6:03 p.m. — Leland Township — There have been an increasing number of speeders in the area of Eagle Hwy. Caller requests additional patrols and placement of the radar trailer.

9:04 p.m. — Solon Township — Very matted dog showed up on caller’s property. Jail notified that the dog would be coming in as caller can’t keep it.

11:29 p.m. — Elmwood Township — North of Lakeview Hills on Co. Rd. 641, where the Tart Trail crosses, caller saw a walking man headed south.

Wednesday, June 24

3:05 a.m.— Leelanau Township — Caller hears animal sounds outside the tent and hears garbage picked apart.

10:15 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Received a tip that there are cannabis plants being grown on the north side of the building amongst the grass and weeds.

12:20 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Harassment.

3:20 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller wants to drive down Park Street and the property owner claims that part of the road is private.

8:59 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Domestic.

Thursday, June 25

5:26 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports a vehicle in the ditch. Passenger in the vehicle which is in some water. Arrest made for operating while intoxicated.

9:52 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone in a white Ford F-150 was using the dumpster on the campus that does not appear to be associated with the community. Caller is the property manager and it was reported to him by a resident. (Per law enforcement, the gentleman was hired to do work at one of the apartments and was just discarding the materials he took out of the apartment.)

10:15 a.m. — Bingham Township — Dog at large. Rottweiler. Unsure if it has a collar. Caller walks in the neighborhood and this dog is frequently loose and aggressive. Doesn’t appear to have anyone home at the residence.

2:05 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller wants someone trespassed from the property. Caller is the office manager. (Subject was trespassed.)

3:20 p.m. — Bingham Township — Siberian Husky. Showing signs of aggression. Dog chipped.

4:29 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Sailboat has been out in the water sedentary for around four hours in Northport Bay. Caller just wants law enforcement to be aware in case there is something wrong.

Second caller advised the sailboat is stuck on a reef and they did drive up to boat and no one was onboard. But all the sails were up. (Boat owner called back. He advised that he had run aground earlier but everything is fine now. He was currently on the vessel.)

5:40 p.m. — Leland Township — Black Hyundai Palisade with a small dog inside. Windows are rolled down but the dog is heavily panting.

6:42 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Gray Jeep Cherokee all over the road. Ran someone off the road.

7:04 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Subject bit in the head by a dog.

7:46 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller is reporting the driver of a full-sized red truck slammed on his brakes at the intersection and then blew his horn and was chasing down a blue Subaru.

Friday, June 26

12:36 a.m. — Centerville Township —Air B&B having a group of men causing a ruckus. Two houses down on the opposite side of the road from caller. (The group was asked to quiet down.)

3:29 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Domestic.

8:09 a.m. — Kasson Township — Maroon truck, pulling trailer carelessly.

8:41 a.m. — Empire Township — Subject is stuffing something down a water valve after opening it. (No apparent damage or evidence suggesting anything nefarious is going on.)

9:11 a.m. — Kasson Township — Woman walking down the road. Suspicious.

9:42 a.m. — Bingham Township — Dark blue Mercedes with white leather interior. No plates. Parks in the same location for four days.

9:54 a.m. — Bingham Township— Large group of bicyclists all over the road, including riding into oncoming lane on Lee Point Road.

1:32 p.m. —Leland Township — Suspicious activity noticed by caretaker. Two persons got out of car and started peeking in the windows. Caller would like a call as there are other suspicious things happening.

6:27 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Thirty sheep or goats in the field near solar panel area.

7:38 p.m. — Elmwood Township— Red Chrysler 300 driving and “high fiving.”

Saturday, June 27

1:19 a.m. — Leland Township — Someone shooting off fireworks. Deputy on foot near North Beach. Saw three juveniles running toward the beach. (Found one laying in the grass.)

2:30 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Domestic.

7:12 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Husband is a contractor at this site. Hasn’t heard from him since yesterday. (Contact made by law enforcement.

He’s OK.)

3:40 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller pulled up next to a car with AC running. Went to beach for an hour and noticed a baby in a car seat. Not sure how long the baby has been there. (Parents were always nearby and checking on the child sleeping in air conditioning.)

6:22 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Dispute with renter over property that has been overbooked. Civil matter. (Property owners did not want to take any action.)

7:45 p.m. — Empire Township — Male trespassed from this location is back. Locked in the bathroom.

10:31 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Fireworks going off for about 20 minutes.

10:48 p.m. — Centerville Township — Neighbors to the north have had fireworks for more than an hour.

10:52 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township— Fireworks on the lake, somewhere along M-109 on Little Glen.

Sunday, June 28

12:13 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Domestic.

3:33 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black Volvo in the water. Driver doesn’t know where she is. Vehicle located in a creek on the west side of Herman Road. Driver arresting for operating while intoxicated.
